All articles published in Explorations in English Learning (EXEL) are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license permits users to copy, distribute, modify, and build upon the content, including for commercial purposes, as long as proper attribution is given to the original authors and the resulting works are licensed under the same terms.

Authors retain full copyright of their work upon publication and grant EXEL the right of first publication. Any future article reuse, republication, or adaptation must credit the original source and indicate any changes made.

By submitting to EXEL, authors confirm the following:

  • All listed co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript.

  • The submission is original, not under consideration elsewhere, and has not been previously published (except for theses, preprints, or conference abstracts).
