The CC BY-SA 4.0 License applies to original materials created by the article's author(s), unless otherwise indicated.

Third-party content—including photographs, illustrations, figures, maps, instruments, datasets, tables, questionnaires, or other copyrighted materials—may be subject to separate rights or licensing conditions.

  • Obtaining permission where required;

Appropriate post-publication action may include correction, removal of infringing material, Expression of Concern, or retraction.

13. Relationship Between Copyright and Article Processing Charges

Payment of an Article Processing Charge (APC), where applicable, does not transfer copyright ownership from the author(s) to JMET or the Publisher.

Payment, non-payment, waiver, or reduction of publication fees does not alter:

  • Copyright ownership;
  • The applicable Creative Commons license;
  • Author reuse rights;
  • Reader reuse rights;
  • Editorial independence;
  • Peer-review standards.
Publication fees do not purchase copyright, favorable peer review, or manuscript acceptance.

VII. Website Copyright and Policy Consistency

14. Website Copyright

Copyright terms governing scholarly articles are distinct from copyright governing the journal website itself.

Unless otherwise stated, the website design, journal logo, branding elements, administrative text, and other publisher-created website materials are not automatically licensed under the CC BY-SA 4.0 License applicable to published articles.

Users should not assume that the article license applies to journal branding, logos, trademarks, or third-party website materials.

15. Policy Consistency

JMET is committed to ensuring that copyright and licensing information is presented consistently across:

  • The journal website;
  • Author Guidelines;
  • Article landing pages;
  • Full-text HTML, where available;
