The Interdisciplinary Journal of Education (IJE), published by Sumber Belajar Sejahtera, is committed to open scholarly communication and the responsible dissemination, accessibility, use, and reuse of published research.

This statement defines copyright ownership, publication rights, licensing conditions, author rights, and the permitted reuse of scholarly content published by IJE.

1. Copyright Ownership

Authors retain copyright in articles published by the Interdisciplinary Journal of Education (IJE). Copyright is not transferred to the journal or publisher as a condition of publication.

By publishing an article in IJE, the author(s) grant the journal and its publisher a non-exclusive right of first publication and a continuing non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, display, preserve, archive, index, reproduce for preservation purposes, and identify the published article as the official Version of Record.

Authors remain responsible for ensuring that their work does not unlawfully infringe the copyright, intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other legally protected rights of third parties.

2. Creative Commons License

Unless otherwise clearly stated on an individual article, articles published by IJE are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Under this license, users may share, copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the licensed material for any lawful purpose, including commercial purposes, provided that the applicable license conditions are followed.

Users must:

1. give appropriate credit to the author(s) and the original publication;
2. provide a link to the applicable CC BY-SA 4.0 license;
3. indicate whether changes were made; and
4. distribute adaptations under the same license as the original work, as required by the ShareAlike condition.

Users may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from exercising the rights permitted by the license.

3. Author Rights

Because authors retain copyright, they may use and disseminate their published work in accordance with the applicable Creative Commons license and subject to any third-party rights.

Authors may use their published article for teaching and academic activities, include it in a thesis or dissertation, deposit the published Version of Record in institutional or subject repositories, share it through legitimate scholarly and professional channels, present or distribute it at academic meetings, and reuse parts of the article in subsequent scholarly work with appropriate acknowledgment of the original IJE publication.

4. Self-Archiving and Repository Rights

IJE permits authors to deposit the published Version of Record in institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories, research-information systems, personal academic websites, and other legitimate scholarly repositories.

IJE imposes no embargo period on author self-archiving of the published Version of Record.

Deposited copies should include the complete bibliographic citation and DOI or permanent link to the official article published by IJE.

5. Attribution Requirements

Any reuse, redistribution, adaptation, or reproduction of material published in IJE must provide appropriate attribution to the author(s), identify the Interdisciplinary Journal of Education (IJE) as the original publication venue, provide the article DOI or permanent publication link where available, and indicate whether changes have been made.

Attribution must not imply that the author(s), editors, journal, or publisher endorse the user, organization, product, or manner in which the material is reused.

6. Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for identifying third-party material included in their manuscript and obtaining any permission required for its publication and reuse.

Third-party material may include figures, photographs, illustrations, tables, maps, questionnaires, research instruments, psychometric scales, datasets, copyrighted educational materials, and other protected content.

Third-party material is not automatically covered by the article's CC BY-SA 4.0 license where a separate copyright notice, credit line, or licensing condition indicates otherwise.

Users wishing to reuse separately licensed or excluded third-party material are responsible for obtaining permission from the relevant rights holder where required.

7. Version of Record

The final article published on the official IJE website and assigned its publication metadata and DOI constitutes the journal's Version of Record.

Where a correction, retraction, expression of concern, or other post-publication notice becomes necessary, the relevant notice will be linked to the Version of Record wherever technically possible in order to preserve the transparency and integrity of the scholarly record.

8. Copyright Infringement and Publication Integrity

IJE takes allegations of plagiarism, unauthorized reproduction, copyright infringement, duplicate publication, inappropriate attribution, and other forms of publication misconduct seriously.

Concerns regarding possible copyright infringement or misuse of material published by IJE will be reviewed in accordance with the journal's publication ethics and editorial procedures.
